Annedore Neufeld ”transforms the orchestra to become an inspired entity full of transparency and clearness, leaving nothing to be desired” and conducts ”with the highest precision and passion.” She is the chief conductor of the Basler Münsterkantorei, the Zürcher Bach Chor, and the Kammerorchester of the Musik-Collegium Schaffhausen.

Annedore Neufeld has worked with the Kammerorchester Basel, Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz, Basel Sinfonietta, Concerto Copenhagen, Collegium Musicum Basel, Capriccio Barockorchester, Symphonisches Orchester Kaposvar, Württembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen, Astoria Symphony and the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonie, among others. She has shared the stage with soloists like Mechthild Bach, Viviane Chassot, Benjamin Engeli, Anna Federova, Miriam Feuersinger, Raphael Höhn, Claire Huangci, Maria Keohane, Peter Kooij, Ana Maria Labin, Margot Oitzinger, Tosca Opdam, Georg Poplutz, Oliver Schnyder, Andreas Weller, and Konstantin Wolff.

Annedore Neufeld started developing her extraordinary musical talent from a very early age as a young pianist and organist. She holds degrees from the Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart and Tübingen, majoring as a conductor, pianist, and organist, with minor degrees in flute and voice. During her education, she frequently performed as a choir and orchestra conductor and held positions as an organist.

Immediately following her education, Neufeld was appointed chief conductor of the Bachchor Kopenhagen and organist at St. Petri church Kopenhagen in 2002. Further educational opportunities focusing on orchestral conducting brought her to Berlin (Universität der Künste) and Zürich (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste). She attended master classes in Vienna, Berlin, Prague, and New York with Tomáš Netopil, Kirk Trevor, Johannes Schlaefli, JoAnn Falletta and others. Annedore Neufeld is currently based in Switzerland.
